Heard news that the big bat from West is released to play. If that's true it's an instant game changer, and you are looking at two legit state contenders in the same conference with West and Burg.

Burg VS West tommorow evening at The Rock. Probably atleast a share of the SOC title on the line. Hope for a great game and big crowd. West will be in the game from pitching and defense, can they score the runs to win. Noticed a reoccurring trend that they start putting on the runs from the 4th inning on.

Which Burg team will show up. Burg is always prepared for the big games. Watch how good Burg is on base running. That might be the difference in the game.

made the trip down the river to catch this one. wburg on top 9-5. bad second inning by pwest put wburg up 6-0. I still feel it could go either way in their next meeting. pwest pitcher struggled to find her groove. wburg line up not as strong as before but too many errors by pwest and wburg done a good job capitalizing on them. I see teams still pitching to eaton. best hitter in s ohio should have plenty of walks. not sure this pitcher is better than moore from ironton as stated by some earlier

Good to be back and taking in games again this year, Burg is not near the team of last year, but no way PW beats them at home. Ironton pitcher is the best of the SO throwers, no question. Thought Trojans would shine but they clearly below the Burg, need a little more pitching. Regional finals Ironton/Burg for State tourney bragging rights. Need to see a few more games before picking a winner!

Hold on about Burg and Ironton to play for the Regional. You have Westfall, Adena, Wellston, Portsmouth, West and Fairfield Leesburg. Those teams can upset either team.

West had a terrible inning with 2 or 3 rare errors. Pitcher definitely struggled finding her spots more than usual and credit is given to Burg for hitting her. They are a great team. But to say they have no chance to beat Burg at home is pretty stupid. I can't comment on Ironton personally because I haven't seen them play, but I can't imagine they are as rounded.
