St joe. baseball

Post by RockHillBoy »

I heard st joe is suppose to be tough. Coming of a 15-4 year with the addition of A very solid third baseman and plus .500 clean up hitter in Crabtree. Have a strong infield with shortstop Isaac Whaley who is as solid as they come. Other than that they are young. Only 2 seniors, just wonder how much of a load they can carry? Opinions?

@captainmorgan_. I'm guessing it is about the same as always. play a lot of area teams. Crabtree used to go out here and as a freshman we went to watch there senior night because my son was on the team. Has the most potential as a baseball player all around as there is in lawrence county. A lot of district honors coming out of them this year. Their underclassmen are tough also. I'm always a fan of the underdogs.

Who is the 3b addition?

I agree, Whaley will be good at Short, but I expect him to be their ace of the staff, what about short when he pitches?

Underdog? With a 15-4 year last year, as you say, how are they underdogs? How many seniors did they lose?

They lost 2 starters. Trae Crabtree is their 2 in the rotation and the 3rd baseman.

Really confused rockhillboy, you said a new addition at 3b? Was that addition last year and ya tooting Crabtree’s horn?

He is just a nice kid. I had the experience to talk to him at basketball games out here. He came last year.
