Unioto and Adena likely at the top. Adena lost a really good senior class, but has another nice senior class and JD Blevins. Unioto has their pitching back and got a nice transfer in from Notre Dame.

Southeastern and Westfall should both be really good. Westfall has some really good young talent and lots of experience, but will they have enough pitching through 14 games.

Piketon, Paint Valley, and Huntington will be solid, but likely behind those 4.

I have zero clue about Zane Trace. Coach Allen will likely have another very good team in the near future, I just don't know if it is this year or next.

Unioto at the top
Southeastern next
PV, Piketon, Adena, middle of pack pickem
ZT lost alot, I think to much but they have Brooks back
WF lost two solid pitchers (Greiner, Kaiser)
Huntington
But as always in the SVC overlook someone or throw off you will get beat.

1. Southeastern
2. Unioto
3. Adena
4. Huntington
5. Piketon
6. Paintvally
7. Zanetrace
8. Westfall
Just an early prediction, pitch count going to be very interesting. Top two in my opinion have best pitching. SE #3 went undefeated on mound last year is why they get the one hole. Need to see some scrimmages , and early non-conference to solidify!

I would also have to give the Panthers the edge over the Tanks and the Warriors. Panthers pitching and defense are tops in the league. They are bringing back 7 starters and adding the son of a former major league pitcher to their staff.

Don't sleep on Piketon... They ran through the pre-season with good wins over Purcell Marian, Eastern Brown, and Greenfield McClain. They also tied D2 regional finalist Athens, not allowing a hit through 7 innings. The streaks just might be the real deal this year.

As of 4/2

Piketon 1-0, 3-0
Huntington 0-0, 5-0
Unioto 0-0, 2-2
Zane Trace 0-0, 1-2
Adena 0-0, 1-3
Westfall 0-0, 1-3
Southeastern 0-0, 0-1
Paint Valley 0-1, 3-3

Hard to tell anything yet because the non league schedules are not the same. Some play better teams than others.

Amazing how paint valley has played 6 games already and se has only played one. Pitch count going to play big time role for se in coming weeks. Going to be playing a lot of back to back nights, unless not planning on rescheduling non-league! Will have to wait and see.

Well, most of the SVC games got rained out on Friday. Paint Valley-Piketon went to the VA and they allowed them to play there.
Some of the teams got rained out doubleheaders on Saturday also.

Adena has lost 2 late leads for their 2 losses. I wouldn't say that the Warriors are out of the league race, but one more loss would likely do it. They have some very good pitching, so I wouldn't count them out.

Piketon and Unioto sounded like a really good HS game by the accounts that I've heard.

Tough to not be able to get game updates on twitter anymore, but B-Daddy Fuller gives updates from the Piketon games.

Unioto's pitching has been very good and it appears that ZT is replacing a great senior class really well.

Westfall is likely a year away, but are competing well thus far.

No clue about SE since they have played so few games. They'll have a chance to prove themselves this week against Unioto, ZT, and Westfall though.

PV will only get better now that Jay Riley can pitch again.

From up 3 in the loss column to a logjam near the top in the matter of a few hours.

Adena beating Unioto twice on Wednesday does jam up the league race.
All eight teams between 6-2 and 2-6.

Unioto wins it. My preseason prediction appears to be completely spot on.

Piketon at Adena and Southeastern at Westfall are due to play tonight. SE and Westfall playing to finish in the top half, Adena trying to finish in 2nd by themselves.
