I would say no. With a top notch track program that is nicknamed "The Beasts of the Southeast, Thanks to coach Fraun and company. Most of the good athletes run or throw. Baseball does nothing for them to prep them physically for they're main sports. Football/Basketball or wrestling etc....

Logan is young experience wise overall but they do have something they haven't had in recent years, decent pitching. Its my understanding Logan will have 4 solid arms to go to this season, something they haven't had recently. Its been one maybe two and then pitch and pray lately but this season should be solid on the mound. Hunter Krannitz, Dylan Mellinger, Cymon Rooker, Gage Sisek, Tyler Cummin and Jojo Duffy should be the offensive leaders. Younger Players Breaden Spatar, Layton Cassady, and Charlie Kline will help this team The schedule is not brutal but there are some very very good programs on the schedule. Logan will need to get the bats going to help their pitchers get ahead and stay ahead and they could have a solid season

I don't really know much about the team, besides they should have some good pitching. I just found the schedule in the LDN and posted it.

Zane Trace and Logan scrimmaged Tuesday. ZT had a 6-2 advantage. Logan looked pretty solid.

Looks like a D-III schedule should get a few wins.

Has to be a moral victory for Logan. Athens is a machine when they play all their best players

Held Athens high powered offense to 5 runs is impressive

I have been to both games so far. Athens game was a game Logan could of won. 3 errors in one inning led to 2 runs that were the difference in the game. Logan has had two solid pitching performances and other than one bad inning they have had great defense. JoJo Duffy has had two amazing catches in two games. Last night the game was 2-1 Circleville for most of the game. Logan was robbed of two big innings with two really bad calls by a 1st year ump that ended two big scoring chances. Logan got another solid pitching performance but couldn't get going with the bats as well. Circleville scored 2 in the 7th and Logan had two on but couldn't get it done and lost 4-1. They have been in both games until the end.
