Anybody have any information on Cambridge. I am sure they are a good team or they would not have made it to this point. What is everybody thinking about this game?

Cambridge will likely throw Timmy Harvey, who's a tough one. I can't tell you a whole lot about them since our game with them was rained out this year, but I do believe they shared the ECOL title with Dover. The Bobcats will be good. Enjoy your visit to Gant Municipal Stadium.

Both teams play in the regional Thursday. I don't think the aces will pitch in this game. Waverly already has a share of the league, one game ahead of the Burg, so it means more to Wheelersburg but why sacrifice the chance to go to state for a league title? So will it be Boyer- Montavon- Luster vs Martin or Teeters?

My guess is Teeters goes for the Tigers

Nob might throw the sophomore Levi Underwood, with Teeters in relief if needed.
Robo will probably get a inning of work.

8 days off is too much. There will be a Robo and Elliott sighting Tuesday. :122245

I can't find much. They did win their league with a record of 18-3. Their sectional opener went 10 innings but they didn't bring in their ace (Harvey) until one out in the sixth. I think their record is 24-5. Looks like they play some pretty stiff competition.

I'd be surprised if Robo pitched more than an inning Tuesday. If the Regional game went into extra innings Coach Noble might want him to pitch 8 or 9 innings depending on the pitch count. You can't pitch more than 10 innings in a three day period.

What time is the game scheduled to start? Does Burg play on Thursday also?

Found just a little more. Cambridge's record is 22-6. They also made it to the Regionals last year.

Harvey is 8-2 and pitched a two hitter in the district finals. He struck out eight and walked two.

The game starts at 5:00.

Cambridge did make it to regionals last year. Their Legion team was not very good, not sure if the better players did not play or what. Goodluck Waverly from Warren Local.

Cambridge is pretty good but i didnt think they were quite this good. We (Marietta) played them in the middle of the season and i believe we beat them 8-5. and that was with bauman starting on the mound (not saying bauman isn't good, just indicating it wasnt brockmier). but they are pretty good. one thing i remember is their leadoff guy can really hit the ball

The game is just now coming on radio.......5:37.

The first game went into extra innings and it's raining right now. They're still taking infield practice.

Good Luck Waverly!

30 minute delay just announced.
