Minford's defense has won them the last couple games. Harrison Central's starting pitcher threw hard, but was all over the place. He walked in two runs in the third inning to put Minford up 3-1. Powell threw well for the Falcons with a complete game. Harrison Central had a 7-5 hits advantage, but it seemed they got nothing going until they had two outs.

Thanks Mad-Dogg

Was hoping for an all SOC final, but congratulations to Wheelersburg on a great year. Hope we can keep the streak alive also. Great defense and timely hitting have helped our run.

Keep rolling Falcons.

So does the Ace pitcher that faced Burg today have innings left that he can throw tomorrow?

He pitched 7 innings, so since a pitcher can only pitch 10 innings in a 3 days he has only 3 innings he can pitch tomorrow

Mullet won't throw on Friday unless it is to close the game. I bet he threw over 100 pitches today.
Massaro is their second best pitcher. He played right today and hits cleanup. Well put together kid.
Probably the only Italian name in Holmes County.

He threw 125, so he better not pitch tomorrow no matter what. I get it, he's a senior, but that would be a crazy amount of pitches to come back from in 24 hours.

Hiland 5
Minford 1

Hiland's #2 wasn't as good as Mullet, but was still extremely effective. Only allowing 3 base runners against an offensive team like Minford is extremely impressive.

Congrats to the Falcons on their amazing season!
