Congrats to Valley and Minford on their wins.

Shows how strong the top half of the SOC 2 was. Minford District Finals, Valley District Finals, Wheelersburg plays tonight in Districts, and Waverly District Finals D2.

Valley somehow came out on top and only hit one ball hard the entire night. Fortunately for the Indians, that one hard hit ball was a 2 out 2 run triple from Eli Harr.

Valley and Minford played two very good games during the SOC season, so I would guess we will see another one tomorrow night.

It is hard to settle in to hit when pitchers are throwing the ball all over the place. 16 walks? Really?

The Alexander pitchers weren't just missing or getting squeezed either, they were throwing balls to the back stop. The last kid, Harris, was really brining it too. I bet he was upper 80's no problem. The first kid had great stuff too. Neither guy had a clue where it was going though.

Congratulations to Lucasville Valley on finding a way to win a game.

The Spartans did not pitch as well as they did in the regular season, but that is the nature of the tournament. We gave up 13 free bases against River Valley and 17 free bases against Lucasville Valley. Makes it very difficult to win in situations like that.

Thanks to the seniors for all the memories. We will miss each of you.

Good luck to all in the rest of the tournament.
