Fort Frye should have a winning spring with a veteran pitching staff, solid defense, and good hitting.

Come see whats new at the Fort and leave those lawn chairs at home. New (gently used donated) stadium seat back chairs have been installed
all around the backstop area. the seating area has been tiered, and concreted for ease of access. Not a bad seat in the house, :D

Give a big thanks to the Coaches and volunteer help for making this posible.

I caught a couple innings of Friday's JV game and was quite impressed by the upgrades in the seating area. Thumbs up to everyone who made that happen.

I would try going to a few more baseball games, but I never know when they're playing. Is there a schedule online?

Just checked school site, Schedule by third party, and only shows date, home or away (by pic of bus, or house) no name or location of other school.

Think it better to get hard copy from school. :?

Thanks. The school does a great job promoting most sports, but the spring season is like a secret club meeting or something.

Fort Frye won two today on opening day of the Washington County Tournament.
In the first game FF beat Belpre.
Second game Waterford beat Belpre.
Third game FF beat Waterford.

All games played at The Fort.
Finals to be played at Marietta's Legion field (Monday, I think)

Frontier at the Fort yesterday.
Fort Frye gave up four runs in the 3rd inning, then got the bats going, and the pitching squared away for a 11-4 win.

Pkb. South today, Left in top of sixth, South up 9-1.

Lots of mis-plays and scoring chances for the Cadets.
