Rest in peace Vaughn Grigsby
The Alexander Spartan family lost one of their family members as Baseball coach Vaughn Grigsby has lost his fight with cancer.
I can only imagine the heart break felt throughout the entire Spartan community.

Coach Grigsby was one of the best men I knew. He cared for the kids and pushed them to be the best they could be. They played hard for him because they returned the love back to him. He will be missed. Prayers go out to the whole Grigsby family during this time of loss and reflection.

Coach Grigsby was a heck of a coach and I'm guessing an even better man. He will be missed in all facets. Prayers go out to the entire community for their loss.

Who is filling the big shoes of Coach Grigsby. Someone on the interim I assume with an actual posting of the position after the season?

Coach Bean is now the Spartans head coach and will be for the foreseeable future as far as I know.ShoeHorn wrote:Who is filling the big shoes of Coach Grigsby. Someone on the interim I assume with an actual posting of the position after the season?
He has been with Vaughn a long long time and he will do a fine job.
