Still anything can happen as West is a solid team as well this year.
West is a very good team, can beat anyone on any given night, already beat Waverly this year by a score of 8-6, and their record standing at 7-4.

They gave Burg a great game and Burg pulled it out 5-4. West has scored 55 runs in the last 3 games, average of 18.3 runs per game. They have great pitching and great hitting. Both Burg and Minford have to take care of their own business from here on out.
I mean come on man they’ve played Notre Dame & Northwest twice in the last 3 games??

Well man, MinfordFalcons, I don't belittle other teams around here like you just did. You guys can go in with high and mighty thoughts of West not being good, but you may just see how good they really are. That's all I'm saying (man.)

I believe the SOC is correct. So that would leave:

Oak Hill and Wheelersburg with a make up.

Valley has Wheelersburg and Northwest left.
Minford has South Webster and West left.
Waverly has Wheelersburg and Northwest left.
Oak Hill has South Webster and West left.

My "differences" from the SEOPS main page:

Minford = matches up
Wheelersburg = It has 12-2. I only count 11 wins on the page and it is missing the loss to Fort Laramie.
Waverly = It has 11-5. SEOPS is missing an 10-0 loss to Circleville on 3/28.
West = matches up
Oak Hill = The SEOPS board says 6-9. They have 14 scores. One of the scores is a 6-2 loss to Jackson on 3/30. I did not have that one but I see where Jackson played them and Gallia that day, so I will update them to 6-8 (3-6).
Valley = SEOPS has them 6-9. It is missing a 6-5 loss to Spring Valley on 3/30.
South Webster = SEOPS has them 5-13. SEOPS is missing a 3-0 loss to Ashland Fairview on 4/13 and a 2-1 win over Tolsia on 4/13.
Northwest = matches up.

Minford 13-1 (9-1)
Wheelersburg 11-3 (8-1)
Waverly 11-6 (7-3)
West 7-5 (5-5)
Oak Hill 6-8 (3-6)
Valley 6-10 (4-6)
South Webster 6-14 (3-7)
Northwest 1-15 (0-10)

Wheelersburg is correct as you have it shown. Thanks for all your help compiling and tracking scores/updates!

Does anyone have the Wheelersburg-Waverly score for tonight? I was in Waverly and got over to the field but it wasn’t til about 7:30, and nobody was there. I assumed the game ended early? I can’t fiend a score anywhere

Game was called off for some reason. Was the field too wet?

Game was canceled due to anticipated weather. Same with softball. Rain outs without rain is disappointing.

I didn’t understand the cancellation. I saw pictures of the Waverly field at game time and field looked fine and it showed rain coming at like 8pm, well after game would have been over. I simply don’t understand.

Was pitching an issue? I know that Waverly played a couple games against Minford this week. Maybe Burg and Waverly just agreed to wait til pitching was available?

Pitching was not an issue for Burg.
Burg wanted to play and offered to host. Waverly declined.

They were out of pitching and this will give them their best two to face burg! I see burg has played in the Greenup County Tournament. Burg had to be using their pitchers also.

Field was playable and I went through waverly at 1pm and came back at 5pm no rain. Looked and rain would start at 8pm

I don’t know much at all about baseball rules. Does that count as a forfeit? When a team cancels for no reason or Was there a reason provided? I know how basketball works

It’s not a forfeit, just not in good faith on someone’s part to play the weatherman. The umpires also lost out on a payday, assuming they aren’t available on the rescheduled date.

Waverly had to cancel their game with Zane Trace on Saturday.

Waverly's outfield doesn't drain well at all. Left field can be a swamp for days after it rains.
