That's a GREAT win. Massie would be one of the better teams in the SE District.bvmv4life wrote:I stand corrected on my previous post Chillicothe is 13-9 ,not 13-8 but now 14-9..beat Clinton-Massie 2-1

Marietta (16-3)
Athens (14-3)
Unioto (15-5)
Gallia (9-5)
Waverly (12-6)
Warren (13-7)
Meigs (10-7)
Jackson (6-7)
Chillicothe (14-9)
Vinton County (3-10)
Valid point.. however I know that when the two played each other Marietta didn't throw either of their aces and I believe Athens threw what would be their number 2 behind Sano.Bring the Heat wrote:I think Athens should still get the one seed.
You take the number 1 pitcher away from any team and to still have a record of 14 and 3 is impressive.
I don't know if things like this are considered but it should be in my opinion.
That is taking nothing away from Marietta I know they are a senior dominated ball club also and very good.
Athens did not their No. 2 (or what has been their ace thus far) against Marietta. That was their No. 4. lolmttatiger14 wrote:Valid point.. however I know that when the two played each other Marietta didn't throw either of their aces and I believe Athens threw what would be their number 2 behind Sano.Bring the Heat wrote:I think Athens should still get the one seed.

Either way it's going to be a great sectional! Whoever comes out of it should make quite the run this year!
Who would be their 2 and 3 then? While we're on it Marietta threw thier number 5.93Bulldog wrote:Athens did not their No. 2 (or what has been their ace thus far) against Marietta. If it goes chalk, Athens vs Marietta will be the regional semi finals with Athens vs Steubenville rematch to go to state6-4-3=2o wrote:Hey Bulldog, wouldn't the Regionals be the same as last year? Athens 1 and 2 District champs play in semis, as well as East 1 and 2 District champs, then the two winners play the Regional Final?
Did any of those 6 reach base on a PB or WP? Did anyone reach base against Sano, and if so, how? Thanks.Raider6309 wrote:Athens 11

Sano pitched 2 innings. 6 strickouts
Looks like these will be the records going into the draw with most games being rained out today.93Bulldog wrote:Pretty darn good sectional.
