SHAC boys perspective here, will be an interesting league:

- Lynchburg keeps winning each season but would have to think someone else will eventually take it, there are several other great teams in the league who have come so close in recent years.
- North Adams is a great program who always plays a tough schedule (several Southwest teams) to prep for conference/tourney.
- Peebles is well coached and absolutely cannot be counted out with their results in recent seasons.
- Fairfield has looked awesome in their scrimmages.
- Fayetteville is the dark horse, not as recognizable here due to being in the Southwest, but good roster.

Should be a fun season!

Peebles girls beat Piketon tonight 3-0. It’s their first win as a program since 2018 or 2019 with one of those years not even having a team. It’s Coach Kierra Stones first win as a head coach for the Lady Indians.

Peebles girls defeat Washington Court House today 4-3 in a very good game. Peebles scored the winning goal with just over 2 minutes to play. They sit at 3-3 on the season.

North Adams boys with wins over Batavia (1-0) and Fayetteville (2-1) to move to 4-0 on the season. North Adams girls sitting at 5-0 with a recent win at Athens (4-2).

Who won the girls game between Northwest and West Union last evening?

Anyone been able to see the West Union boys play? They just got a big win over Eastern Brown which is a pretty historic moment for the program. They are off to a good start at 2-1-1.

Heard that Whiteoak added soccer this year, will they be competing in SHAC play in the future?

From what I’ve heard yes. I think the rumor is to have them join the SHAC for the 2024 season. Not sure if they have enough for both a boys and a girls team. Either way it’s great to see another school get soccer.
