Chiefs boys go on the road to Lancaster to open up the season with a 3-1 win. Their third straight victory over the Golden Gales, but only their fifth all-time win against them. Logan starts the season 1-0.

Picktown lost to the Chiefs and after the game they said Logan wasn't any good.

That does not surprise me at all . The Chiefs are in fact pretty good . Maybe they meant they(Picktown) was not any good . LOL

Yeah I read the article, they heard some of the Pickerington players AND coaches say they shouldn't have lost to a soccer team that "wasn't very good." :lol: :lol: :lol: Typical of a central district team saying something like that just because it's a team from Logan.

Who will challenge Logan this year? So far their opponents are 5-20-3. I do see Athens and Central Crossing coming up which should be good tests.

Most of the teams Logan has beat are from the Columbus area.

The opponents that they have played so far are 5-22-3. Their upcoming opponents record is as follows:

Pickerington North and Dublin Scioto may be down record wise, but you still have to play good soccer to beat them, especially with the competition that they are used to playing. Very good start to the season.

But a fun note on how those schools view teams from the SE portion of the state. We played Granville a game after our all time goal scorer broke his leg and we secured a draw. As it was closing down and obvious that they weren't going to score on us, their coach started ranting and raving about playing in cornfields and how he would never stoop that low again lol
