Girls: Columbus Academy v. Bishop Rosecrans
Lynchburg-Clay v. Wheelersburg

Great to see 2 SOC teams advancing to the regionals! The South Webster boys (18-0-1) and Wheelersburg girls (17-0-2) are having fantastic seasons!

Boys: Regional Finals @ Newark White Field at 12:00noon Saturday 11/5
Bishop Rosecrans wins in 1st OT... 1:34 into the OT... 1-0. SW great game, great season!!!
Grandview Heights wins in 1st OT... :15 into OT... 3-2
Girls: Regional Finals @ Logan High School at 3pm Saturday 11/5
Bishop Rosecrans wins 2-1
LC wins 6-1

I'm not surprised that LC won today but I am a little surprised just how much they dominated Rosecrans . Great job LC!

Not a bad 2016 for Lynchburg Athletics! Congrats to the Mustangs! Only the 3rd SE District soccer team to make it to the Final Four and the first Girls team to do so!

Next up for Lynchburg in the State Semi-Final game is Cincinnati Country Day on 11/8 at 7:00 at Lakota East High School. Good Luck and bring home the State Title to the Southeast District.

From the article I read, it sounded like Lynchburg hit the crossbar a few times as well. It didn't sound like Rosecrans had very many opportunities. It mentioned 1 save in the first half for LC and a couple in the 2nd that were deflected away.

Saw a guy I think from zanesville paper say they only had 1 shot and it was their only real chance
