Sorry that the Falcons have to play on a field that meets the lower end of OHSAA regulations tonight. Maybe Unioto can get a real field if the next levy passes, right?

Unioto is playing much better soccer now than at the beginning of the year, but it's been against slightly lesser competition than they will face in Fairfield Union. Should be a good test to see where they are. It's just too bad that they have to play on well manicured grass (although, the middle school team did play in the rain last night, so my sarcasm might be off if the field got messed up). Fairfield Union is 1-3 at Unioto all time, which is funny, because they have played every year since 2008 (at least) and twice played at Unioto twice in one season (tournament was once), so outside of 08, 11, 13, and this year, Unioto has been the away team in this series.

meh, nothing will beat playing at the old Fisher Catholic Field at St Rose.. I really only said it in case mark is still cruising the boards, as we used to joke with him about it! I feel like we have played AT unioto more than that, but that is really odd! I do remember one year it being switched due to something, maybe field conditions?? I can't really remember. Most of us would absolutely kill to have a soccer only field... sounds like the game was called though due to lightning and I would guess it isn't a game that gets made up. Was looking forward to the matchup tonight too. I'd still think these two will see each other in a month or so
