Thanks all. It's been a good run. Felt good about the game till Lilly picked up that 2 foul 5 minutes in. Then Jaycie followed her to the bench. Second half more of the same .In the 4th quarter made a run and got it to 1 point with about 5 to go. Everyone in foul trouble and couldn't play any defense. Had their chances just couldn't finish. Justice Fouled out,Gray fouled out,Beekman fouled out. Justice I think had 26 points.
Shadyside deserved it and moves on. Well all but two players back for next year.It is what it is and congrats to Shadyside. Hope you win it all. Work hard this summer girls and hope you get further. Go Indians

Our girls were young and are ready for next year with some work.No one gave us a look at the year,but; now these girls will be watched for a couple of years. River, one of its rivals, knew how to beat them. Did it twice. They will always find someone open for a 3.
Peebles will need to play good hard defense, but my money says Tigers stay out of foul trouble and win by 7.

I love to hear the small town stories...we at Shadyside had about 8-9 police/e-car/fire truck escort with sirens blaring throughout our main drag through town last night around midnight. 100's were lining the street dancing and cheering on our LT's. We do it for our teams when they start advancing deep in playoffs. Signs and flags displayed all over town. I love to hear other towns doing this. You guys had an awesome turnout. Good luck to Peebles in the future. I know you guys will be making some more noise in the upcoming years.

Yep, that's how we roll too. We have escorts from the Appalation highway,State route 32. There are always many firetrucks,police cars,squads, and a ton of cars thru the countryside then thru town to the school. In 1998 after our girls played in the state final game, the parade started at the Pike county/ Adams county line and the parade it's self was almost 2 miles long. All from this little town in the middle of no where with a population of 1800 at that time. Now I think the population is smaller. It's a blessing. #homegrownkids.
