The same question as the game before: How does the young VC team play against an upperclassmen-laden Washington CH? VC starts 3 freshmen. Washington starts 3 seniors. From watching both teams in back to back wins, I think you can argue that VC is a more balanced team and CH is a little more top heavy (Not sure what you would consider better). I think both teams present some matchup problems for each other. I think the biggest factor in this game is rebounding. Washington has a big advantage in the paint and VC will need to find a way to limit the offensive rebounds/second chance points. Maybe they can just steal the ball before they get to half court. Seems simple enough, right?

Without doing a little research, what was the outcome last year ?

I believe court house jumped out to a early double digit lead and won by 16, last year in the district semi final

Washington won by around 15 I believe. Vinton County has never won a district title in ladies basketball. So we’re trying for history! I have a good hunch though, with 3 freshman and a sophomore in the starting line up, we’ll get one sooner or later!

She was having a dynamic game from the point and had 13 points at time of injury.
