Being so early it's hard to tell.Ironton always has a decent program year in and year out.And since Portsmouth has finally gotten serious about winning and building a program maybe they'll make some noise.Amy didn't come back to lose.Who is the PHS point guard you spoke of earlier?

I think Eley. Seen her in some summer league action. Very fast, handles the ball really well fun player to watch this coming season. Think we should watch for her " just saying ".

You cant forget about Fairland either.This is a tougher league than I thought.

Oh I'm not, that's for sure but, Fairland did lose a lot of their starters.

Saw Fairland at Marshall last weekend, they are better than last year. Alli Marshall is probably the best player in the area.

Arden from Ironton is the best player in the area imo. Ive seen Portsmouth too and they look like an actual bb team, kudos to Hughes. She can flat out coach.

At this point at least #3,right? I have no clue.Just a guess? Just with Amy alone they'll improve greatly over last year.She took a team at Chillicothe minus a starter due to injury and another to transfer and worked miracles.Both very good players by the way.

She's one heck of a coach as well as the whole family. Third in the ovc I like that number panther!!!!

I always admired Mr.Hughes when I was a kid.Winners all the way.Never thought I would ever end up meeting him or anyone in his family.

Congrats to Portsmouth’s new Coach, great hire , now Portsmouth will be a contender. Why hasn’t Portsmouth been able to get this kind of attention for so long. Seems like they really never have been taken serious asa team for years or really never have had a winning team attitude. I’ve always said the Coach makes a team go and has a huge impact on getting kids out to play and play hard. Portsmouth in two-three years will be a major factor in Div 3. Good Luck on a great hire there. Also Mr. Hugh’s and Mr. Caldwell are coaching legends people.

I'm throwing it out there Portsmouth will at least be number 2 in the ovc!!!!!

Fairland, Ironton, and South Point are top 3. Portsmouth maybe 4th but Chesapeake and Coal Grove will be just as good. Portsmouth may be 6th in the League just ahead of Rock Hill and Gallia.

We will see baseball 16.!
