2017 BACF OH vs WV Girls Basketball Rosters

The 16th Annual Battle Against Cystic Fibrosis Basketball Classic will take place on Friday, April 7, at Parkersburg South’s Rod Oldham Athletic Center. The OH vs. WV Girls All-Star game will start at 5:30PM and the boys game follows at 7:30PM.

The Ohio Girls team, coached by Alexander’s Cory McKnight, will be led by guard Leah Richardson, who is Alexander girls’ basketball all-time leading scorer. The senior averaged 17.4 ppg and was and AP Division III All-Ohio 1st Teamer and the TVC Player of the Year. Richardson will play at Division 1 Murray State next year.

Other members of the Ohio Girls team include: Jala Mace (Alexander, F, 5’-11”); Marlo Taylor (Cambridge, G, 5’11”); Laura Pullins (Reedsville Eastern, F, 5’-10”); Cheyenne Barker (Belpre, G, 5’-4”); Paige Lunsford (Logan, PG, 5’-7”); Adrienne Jenkins (Gallia Academy, C, 5’-9”); Destiny Tabler (Federal Hocking, G, 5’-7”); Sammi Morris (Frontier, SG, 5’-6”); Lexi Brookover (Frontier, SF, 5’-11”); Hannah Grosel (Marietta, G, 5’-9”); Makayla Liedtke (Fort Frye, G/SF, 5’-11”); Katie Rauch (Warren Local, PG, 5’-7”).

The West Virginia Girls team, coach by Gilmer County’s Amy Chapman, is led by Williamstown Class A 1st Team All-State Captain Ashley Morris. Morris averaged 19 points per game, 3.7 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 4 steals, and made 76% of her free-throw attempts.

Other members of the WV Girls team include: Hannah Carroll (Parkersburg, G, 5’-8”); Haylie Reynolds (Ravenswood, G, 5’-7”); Aaliyah Dunham (South Charleston, PG, 5’-4”); Jordan Johnson (Parkersburg South, G, 5’-8”); Jordan Fox (St. Marys, SG, 5’-7”); Lexi Moore (Parkersburg South, G, 5’-8”); Jenna Nichols (St. Marys, G, 5’-5”); Alexis Saunders (Parkersburg Catholic, G, 5’-9”); Stephanie Kirk (Ritchie County, SF, 5’-11”); Cori Hughes (Wirt County, G, 5’-6”); Makayla Smith (Calhoun County, PG, 5’-0”); Kylie Shuff (Gilmer County, G, 5’-9”); Alex Delozier (Parkersburg, G, 5’-6”); Riley Fitzwater (Gilmer County, C, 6’-4”).
