3/10 DII Regional Final: Miami Trace (23-4) vs Tri-Valley (20-6)

Miami Trace Lady Panthers try to make to the Schott for the 2nd time in 7 years when they take on Tri-Valley Friday @ 7:30pm in Zanesville.
The teams have one common opponent as both played Sheridan. MT beat Sheridan 46-33 in tournament play. TV played Sheridan twice in league play splitting the games. TV won 56-49 @ home, Sheridan returned the favor on home court by a 38-35 score.

Miami Trace outscores Tri Valley 10-0 in the 2nd quarter and the Panthers lead 14-11 at half.

Miami Trace leads Tri Valley 19-15 at the end of 3.

Miami Trace beats Tri Valley 30-28. The Panthers are headed to the State Tournament.

Congratulations to the lady Panthers . They lock you down on the defensive end like no other team in the southeast district and it has carried them to the final 4 . Best of luck in Columbus , represent.

Can't verify the defense of Tri Valley but Miami Trace is by far the best defensive team I watched this season.

Yes, the defenses were both pretty good but, MT left a lot of points on the floor. We missed about 6 bunnys and way to many FTs including front end of 1 and 1's. Honestly, it should have been a 12-15 point win.
