Warren girls 2-0 now, and might be 3-0 after their game at Alexander tomorrow night.

Two huge early season test for Blue! Both on the road, a split here would be good against those two. Inside game is going to be key versus Alex, and going to take a good all around game v Fort Frye. However at the end of the day, we are playing two of the best in the Region and State this week.

Fort Frye is really good again lead by 6-1 beast inside Alexis Enoch. One of the best defenders I've seen at HS level. Mikayla Liedtke has been hot early this year.

Warren did a good job defending the Cadet talls Enochs and Liedtke spent the entire game trying to get to an open spot for a look at the basket.

Guard play for FF was outstanding tonight. Katie Hart led the scoring with 12, and Karisa Lang had ten.
Booth played a good game when she was in, but sat about half the game with foul trouble, but she is a good,smart player with lots of hustle.
Hesson and the two freshmen (Borich and Buchanan) getting lots of valuable playing time. This will be a big asset for the team later in the season.

31/13 for the second half..looks like FF put the D out there in the 2nd half

Wow, that 2nd half was a beat down!!! Girls played hard, FF just found another gear and pulled away. Knew this would be a tough weekend for Blue. They will get better from this! Coach C is too good and will be ready as this season progresses.

Cadets are the real deal Warren slowed down Cadets big 2 but the other girls made plays showing how deep they are.

This is as good a place as any to say that: It seemed to me that, when Booth was in the lineup last season, the team played well. I don't know if they keep +/- stats at Fort Frye, but she seemed to play well in her limited opportunities. I didn't get to go to last night's game, but it sounded like a great team effort.
