S.H.A.C. girls basketball success

Post by stacey7722 »

Congratulations to the S.H.A.C. conference for getting three teams sectional championships and if Lynchburg-Clay can get a W against Oak hill the S.H.A.C. will have put half of the teams left playing for the district championship. The S.H.A.C. is a conference that typically does not get a lot of respect and has been considered the step sister to the southeastern teams (who are very good). Glad to see a conference that has played a high level of basketball mostly off the radar having so much hard earned success. Good luck to all the teams left in the tournament. I would appreciate any comments on the chances either Lynchburg-Clay, Eastern Brown or North Adams has at winning a district title and continuing the run.

I think LC will beat Oak Hill in a battle. Coach Hale at Oak Hill one of the best around....I then think they get by Fairland in another close one.

I think Eastern Brown should handle Skeens as long as Day avoids foul trouble.

I think North Adams did great by knocking Burg out...but the Richardsons of Alexander will be too much....if NA can beat Alexander then they can make it to state.

The Shac also has schools in the southwestern districts. Ripley I think just lost, and Fayetteville I believe is still in it.

SHAC does it, Lynchburg-Clay got by Oak Hills tonight to make half of the district finals teams from the SHAC conference. Congratulations on a great year to an Oak Hills team that just ran into an animal they where not familiar with today. Oak Hills is obviously much better than the final score indicated, the score just got out of hand to quickly before they could adjust to LC style of play. Congratulations to the Lady Mustangs and good luck Sat. against Fairland for a repeat of last years district championship game.

Fayetteville and Fairfield also won sectional championships so 5 of the 10 teams in the conference accomplished this goal, not bad.

SHAC gets two of three district titles! North Adams made a great run at the third but came up one shot short. Great season by the Green Devils. Eastern Brown and Lynchburg-Clay survive and advance.

Will 1 ticket get you into both or are they clearing the gym? 6:15 and 8:00 starting times
