Fairfield 75 @Paint Valley 67 should be enough to move Fairfield to #4 seed. 6 wins in a row. @ west Union 1/26

With South Webster beating New Boston and playing a tougher schedule, it will be interesting to see how the seeding turns out.

Big game tonight, Clay vs New Boston

Paint Valley should be 8-8 after their loss last night

no way they play a better schedule. Fairfield plays Southeastern(Ross)(Skeens), Cedarville(who will be #1 seed in Dayton), WCH, Greenfield, Eastern Brown, North Adams twice, Lynchburg-Clay, Clermont Northeastern, All DII or DIII. Also, Fayetteville twice, Ripley,Peebles. That is a tough schedule

I meant South Webster plays a tougher schedule than New Boston....and Clay for that matter. These records can be deceiving but it seems to be what the coaches stick with regarding voting. Fairfield does play a tough schedule and has had some common opponents with some of the schools that have better records than they do and Fairfield has beaten those teams more easily.

my bad, I see what you are saying. Records can be deceiving, but strength of schedule should be considered in the seeding

Fairfield wins its 9th game in a row. On a roll at the right time of year. With their strength of schedule, they should be considered for the 1 or 2 seed.

Could you list who Fairfield has won and lost to. I would like to see to be able to compare with ND, NB and SW to see where they fit in compared with those 3. Thank you

Has Notre Dame played any D3 or D2 schools? Usually they just play D4 only. Who are their quality wins?

You sound a little defensive I was truly curious. ND I know played Wheelersburg only loss they have and was a close game. They beat Oak Hill who in return beat Burg D3. they beat West and Portsmouth D3, They beat a D2 KY team cant remember the name one of the county schools, they still play Piketon, they beat St Joe D4 which I believe is their only D4 out of conference, they beat Valley D3, and are undefeated in their conference.

FHS began winning streak on Jan. 12 with a 47-41 win over Fayetteville. Since then, they’ve defeated Manchester twice (68-36, 56-34), Clermont Northeastern (46-21), Ripley (39-35), Paint Valley (75-67), West Union (58-47) and Blanchester (54-46).

No real powerhouses

South Webster's record is now 11-8. They have a 3-1 record against D2 schools. They defeated Jackson, Vinton County, and split with Waverly. Their loses have been taken Burg twice, Oak Hill by 6, Minford twice, South Point, Eastern Brown by 8. They have beaten Portsmouth, Belpre, and New Boston. They also have defeated West and Valley twice, and Northwest. All of which are D3 except for Belpre and New Boston.

Fairfield is 12-7, has lost to Waverly (first game of year at PV Classic-Shope fouled out early in the 4th) Eastern Brown, North Adams-2, Washington CH (beat North Adams), Cedarville and Ross Southeastern

Other than Waverly, every team they lost to would beat every team in this sectional with the exception of possibly Notre Dame and South Webster.
