Eastern Pike may suprise some folks this season. They have 2 sophs that are outstanding talents (Staker and Rowe)

From what I've heard Eastern Pike isn't too happy with the girls coach. Is this true?

New Boston remains strong if they didn't lose many players. I don't see any freshmen players helping much.

I look for ND to be good this year with their new coach.Monroe had some fast players and had a great press. I look for big changes as to the way this team plays.
This could be the #1 team( if not this year next for sure).

Clay has some a new coach also look for them to make some noise.

East will be much better this year.

Western will get no help from their freshman class but have Senior leadership.

Eastern had 1 great player, I look for her to move up and help.

Symmes Valley have some good freshmen.

1. New Boston or ND
3. Clay
4. Western
5.Green,East,Eastern,Symmes Valley, Fight it out.

I agree hands down...........New Boston
for sure.
AS for the vikings bball we have no freshman
capable of making the varsity team even with
low numbers.
Team will consist of the same girls they had last year.
They lost Bowling which was out all season last year
and they lost Sarah Ashworth.......
They however did gain Brooke Skinner from Rock Hill if
they could get her well she could help out.
Better than last year but need to stay healthy.

I think Notre Dame will pose a great threat to the SOC this year. They've got many returning starters, a group of upcoming freshmen who were undefeated as eighth graders, and a new head coach.

I look for Western to compete again this season. As stated before we do have some good leadership. The team has good size in Sammy Darling and the junior guard combo or Tabby Riley and Tessa Gragg have played valuable minutes over the part few seasons. Morgan Ross is a sophomore that got a great amount of varsity time last year as a frosh.

East has some size as well.
TL a sophomore is 6' and is very strong.
TW a freshman has some size as well.
TK a freshman is no pushover.
HF a freshman is a hard worker.
EH a freshman is a great ball handler.

Add this to what East already has = more wins for East.

Well what do you think after seeing perviews?

I missed Burg vs Eastern and West vs Green. I seen the other games.

ND, New Boston, Clay and East looked good.

Is it difficult to find something positive to say about the New Boston Glenwood Lady Tigers? How did you think New Boston looked? Wouldn't most teams get beat by the Oaks? Who needs to address an attitude? And just what issues do they have?
Was there anything good about the Tigers that you saw?

The Lady Tigers will do just fine. All of the teams in the SOC I have many underclassmen playing varsity as they do not have the numbers that SOC II has. We all know the excellent tradition of Oak Hill. I wish them the best!

I think NB looked good early in the game.
They played the Oaks. Give em a break.
