I am very proud of the Lady Spartans. That is a very nice win over a talented team. The Spartans controlled the game at the end with some big shots by freshman Rachel Richardson. I think it was the decision making and ball handling of Leah Richardson that kept NY from getting back into the game late.

Go Alex!

Alex played lights out - but as with the first VC game NY shot terrible. 5 of 17 from the line and 3-15 from three. Your not going to beat many good teams shooting like that.

This was a very intense game with neither team shooting from the field very well. Both teams employed aggressive defensive pressure. With the exception of FT's, the game stats were very similar for both teams. This has become a nice rivalry. Good luck to all of the TVC teams in the tournament.
