Fort Frye next 6 days
Girls have played a tough schedule and gets even tougher this week as they play Frontier (14-4) , Waterford and Magnolia (10-4) in ovac on Monday.
Re: Fort Frye next 6 days
Frontier at The Fort Thursday, Waterford at The Fort Saturday, and probably either Barnsville, or Magnolia in OVAC semi final game at The Fort on February 1st. Fort Frye leads Linsly by one point with Barnsville 3rd, and Magnolia 4th. These may change with won-loss records.

No it won't because the cutoff date was last Monday the OVAC is set 1. Fort Frye vs 4. Magnolia and 2. Linsly vs 3. Barnesville. Cadets in an uphill battle without Makayla.

Re: Fort Frye next 6 days
Senior night at The Fort. Seniors Alexis Enochs, Karisa lang, and Megan Hesson. Not sure but Megan was probably leading scorer tonight. Frontier brought a big crowd from Eastern Washington County.
Cadet Jv's also won. Cougars only had seven players dressed for the varsity game. Thought they would have put a few Jv's on the bench just in case of foul trouble.
Didn't see D'spy, he must have been up in the cheap seats?

No lol I was at work someone was texting me the scores. Big draw is on Sunday a win over the number 1 team in the state would be huge for seeding.

Re: Fort Frye next 6 days
Seems Waterford has had Forts number lately. How many wins in a row is that for Waterford? Maybe the coach needs to try something different......
Re: Fort Frye next 6 days
Coaching has nothing to do with it. Very impressed with the way Fort competed. They were obviously overmatched, and could have easily folded when we jumped all over them, but they didn't and I think that deserves respect. Fort fans didn't pack the gym like usual, appears they didn't care to watch. Even if the fans have packed it in, its apparent that the coaches and team haven't.

What you guys forgot to mention is Cadets were missing MaKayla Leidtke the teams best player. They still went undefeated in the PVC and played every team tough.

Re: Fort Frye next 6 days
They will play Linsly for the 3rd time as they beat Barnesville 70-44. Great win for Cougars over Bridgeport who was (16-2) but had no big time wins. Fort Frye will most likely play Bridgeport in the sectional final.
Re: Fort Frye next 6 days
Fort Frye beat Linsly for the 3-A championship in the OVAC 43-38.
Five championships in seven years for The Fort.
Hart,Hesson, and Enochs all in double figures for Fort Frye. Bruner led Linsly in scoring.
Tanner Booth led in rebounds for the Fort.
Again outstanding defense for the entire Fort Frye team.
