waterford vs marietta 12/29/07

Waterford won by 2 points, I believe it was :

Waterford 62

Marietta 60

Not sure if the game went into OT or not, as the reporting last night on WTAP was not very thorough.

GAme was won in OT. It was an excellent game to watch. Waterford manhandled Marietta on the boards in the first half but then went into stall mode and just about lost it. Maritta had a couple chances to tie or win on the foul line but missed 4 crucial shots in the end. The young Ross girl was in double digits in the first half. Not sure what she ended up with. Brown, King and Drayer all played well for the Wildcats.

What a game to watch. Marietta has a good team and was good competion for the Lady Cats. This game will be a great benefit down the road. Very physical. Way to hang tough Ladies. Keep up the good work the rest of the season. Next game Thursday at home with the Eastern Eagles. Go get em' Lady Cats.

hats off to the wildcats. great game. im a little confused though by a coach that talks of going to the state and dosent even know when to call a time out to set up a winning shot????? I did like it when he turned to the stands and asked for fan support. is probably a good thing he couldnt hear some of the comments being made by the parents. are these not the parents that are getting what they asked for.lol........ tiger girls keep your heads up. lady wildcats again GREAT game.
