Chillicothe 51 Athens 26 Final

I believe this is the SEOAL opener for both teams? It's the opener for Chillicothe for sure.I hear Athens may be improved this year?? Any thoughts...It's really a shame Athens leaves the SEOAL after this year.Any thoughts on who takes their place.Can't imagine somebody wouldn't jump at the chance to join a quality conference.

Vinson was the top scorer for the Lady Cavs with 15.

Meghan Lee had 11 and Brittney Strawser had 9 and 12 rebounds off the the bench. Grace Nelson had 6 points and 8 rebounds for Athens. Chillicothe outrebounded Athens 39-25.

Athens came out on top of the Junior Varsity game, 31-24. Jamie Sindelar had 9 to lead Athens. Brenda Detty had 9 for Chillicothe.

Looks like she might be a player that contributes a little more than I thought.She was really skinny last year.From the team picture it looks as if she is filling out a bit. Amy needs someone else to step up.Maybe she's it....
