i think the south point high school coach is a smart man. he will decide who will play and who will not. it would be sad to see the talent that is coming up go to waste. but it has happened all to often at south point. they would not play the best talent cause there friends kids or politics. i hope this is not he case anymore. but we will see what happens. now the comment that dragonfly made dont be a internet gangster

I think Logan has Topf and Cassady. Cassady might be a starter here and there.

kayla fletcher and jalynn bradburn both started tonite and that will most likely remain throughout the season....these two girls are two exceptional players coming from their middle school career of something like 32-0

Cassady started for the Chiefs Friday night and handled the ball very well.

I saw them play at Alexander, in a preview, and one freshman the point gaurd will have a very successful high school career. She's fast, can dribble well with the right and left hand, has a good shot, and with time I think she can develope into a team leader.

Brooke Marcum of river valley. One of the best players river valley will see maybe since Nichole Watkins who played 1999-2003 and was picked up by Western Michigan. Brooke might just turn out to be better.

Now they are 0-2 I be that hurts since they didn't lose at all the last two seasons. But actually the talent level they played against in the middle school era was VERY weak. I think they probably only had 2 or 3 competitive games each year. All the rest were blowouts because the talent level in the OVC is so weak. That is why in the high school ranks SP is always in the top of the OVC but falls in the sectionals or districts and never goes very far. As a whole the OVC is weak and it hurts the good teams the most.

Unioto has one freshman starting and another one playing a big role off the bench. The freshman who starts is their leading scorer and the other is their secondary defensive stopper.
