the tigers will come back in great shape..yes, they are goin to b without one of the best girls basketball players in southern ohio but they will be returning alyssa"SHAQ" raines who is just a beast underneath and one of the best shooters in southern ohio, missy buckley. they will be fairly young but they will be fine because they have in my opinion the best girls coach around.

New Boston Glenwood Tigers 61
Portsmouth Notre Dame Titans 28

This was a make up game. Congrats Lady Tigers!

New Boston improves to 13-3 overall and 10-1 in league play with three games to play in conference. Notre Dame falls to 4-12 and 2-9. Next for the Tigers is a regular scheduled game at Western Pike on Thursday. The Indians are 5-10, 4-6.

There was no Junior Varsity game played tonight.

Both Junior High teams were successful tonight defeating the Western Indians in both boys and girls. This game was played prior to the Varsity girls game. Great job young Tigers!

New Boston Glenwood Tigers 69
Western Indians 42

The Lady Tigers picked up a win on the road at Latham last night. This improves the NB record to 14-3 overall and 11-1 in league play. The Indians fell to 5-11 and 4-7 in league.

New Boston can clinch at least a tie for the conference on Monday. The Tigers travel to Beaver to tangle with the Eagles 5-11, 3-8. NB defeated the Eagles earlier in the year 49-36 at home.

On Thursday the 12th, NB welcomes the Vikings of Symmes Valley 5-10, 4-8. SV defeated the Tigers in Willow Wood 41-39.

The non conference game with Ironton St.Joseph has not been rescheduled to my knowledge.

Congratulations Lady Tigers! Concentrate on these last two conference games and the league title is yours again for the third year in a row. Amazing!

The Junior High Boys and Girls both defeated the Western Indians last night at home.
Congrats!

WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!

New Boston Glenwood Tigers 66
Willow Wood Symmes Valley Vikings 28

New Boston had lost to the Vikings in Willow Wood early in the year by a score of 41-39. Tonight the Lady Tigers were pretty much hitting on a cylinders and pulled away from the Vikings early.

At the half, Tigers 35-7
After 3, Tigers 49-14
And the Final, Tigers 66-28

New Boston wins the SOC I Championship for the third year in a row.

The Lady Tigers have one makeup game left, which is at Ironton St.Joseph. I am not sure if this game is scheduled yet. NB improves to 16-3 on the year and 13-1 in league play. Symmes Valley drops to 7-11 and 5-9.

There was no JV game played.

Congratulations Lady Tigers! Champions three years in a row is quite an accomplishment. You all have worked hard. The adversity you faced at times only made you stronger. Good Luck in the Tournament!

After one.........Tigers 16-5
At the half........Tigers 29-12
After three........Tigers 38-24

After being down by twenty points early in the third quarter, the Lady Rebels fought back outscoring the Lady Tigers 27-10 to come within three points with a couple of minutes to go in the game. Then SG had to foul and the Tigers made good on those free throws putting the game out of reach.
