IRONTON ADVANCES!!!!
YES MA'AM

IHS -vs-Affricentric in Columbus!!!

What a comeback!!!!

Barrier double teamed & pushed around all game, but contributes 11 points & IHS still prevails!
What amazing teamwork!!!!

The starting five for IHS all interviewed on the IHS webcast saying tingle was a very very good player & hard to completely stop. She was the leader Of Everything RW.

Barrier said they were just hounding her on double teaming & knew she had to step up & score to ignite comeback, which she did!!!

Great interviews & game call by Kevin Anthony & Jason phillaw(sp).
They are very good @ what they do & make me feel like I'm physically there,
Great operation.
Does anyone have an email for their operation!

Article on Ironton & Ridgewood game from COSHOCTON Tribune:
Interesting take on game!!!!

Late offensive drought ends Ridgewood State Run
LOGAN - The Ridgewood girls basketball team has had a memorable postseason run.

They defeated the second-and-third ranked teams in the state by a combined 36 points, before making Saturday's regional final and with 2:43 on the clock in the third quarter it looked like Ridgewood was going to continue its run.
But the Generals scored three points in the final 10 minutes and lost 46-43 to Ironton at Logan High School.
"I thought we outplayed them. Their coach told me we outplayed them," Ridgewood coach Doug Patterson said. "A couple things happened, but we played well. I will have to watch the film, but I thought we played well."
In the Generals previous postseason games, they started the games hot from the field, but Saturday was different. They were 3-for-13 from the field, but only trailed Ironton 13-9, because the Tigers were struggling as well.

But then junior Audrey Tingle got hot. Ridgewood's leading scorer posted seven straight of her team's points to cut the one-time seven point Ironton lead to three points (23-20). Autumn Brown, Eliza Haynes and Kaitlyn Finton scored on three straight possessions to give the Generals a 26-23 lead at the half.
Ridgewood came out of the half in a half court trap and stunned the Tigers. They turned the ball over on four straight possessions, allowing the Generals to take a 33-23 lead with 6:44 to play in they third quarter.
That lead was then pushed to 40-26 after an Erinn Buchanan offensive rebound and basket.
Patterson said that run was because of the Generals getting in a rhythm.
Then Ironton started chirping away and Ridgewood finished the game shooting 1-of-12 from the field. The lone field goal came on a Morgan McDorman three that tied the game at 43-43 with 2:14 to play.
The score stayed the same as the Generals had the ball with 17 seconds left. They didn't hold it for the final shot though, as they found Kaitlyn Finton for a shot inside, but the senior's shot was off the mark. Ironton's Lexie Barrier was fouled on the rebound and sealed the game at the free throw line.

"Darrell said he was trying to tell them to shoot at six seconds, but I will take the blame," Patterson said. "In the huddle, I just wanted to get a shot. I thought we could get something out of it."
The Generals' memorable playoff run came to an end Saturday ending the careers of Kaitlyn Finton and Morgan McDorman.
"I never imagined we could get this far," McDorman said. "I saw us getting to district finals, but we came together. I wish all the luck to the underclassmen and I hope they can get to state next year.
