Awwww this makes me so sad to hear that Oak Hill lost, I was really rooting for them to make it into the final four. But WOW what a great season. I am surprised that the score was that much of a difference...I wish I knew some details as to why. South Point played them A LOT closer last week...

Oak Hill had shots they just would not fall for anything. Garaway knew what defense they needed to run, they would sub almost everytime they got a foul shot (which seemed like a lot ) to stop oak hill from running a fast break. Congrats to a very good Garaway team and good luck in your next game! Excellant season Oak Hill! You did so much more then people expected of you this year.

Doesn't this put both Garaway's Boys and Girls Teams in the final 4? [P.S. - oops - their Boys still have a game against Columbus Bishop Ready [should have been Wheelersburg!] tomorrow, 3/9, to go to get to the Final 4. I hope I didn't jinx them.] I'll say "good luck" to Garaway.
Ironton did that in what? - 2005? - but that's an accomplishment that probably doesn't happen very often for any school.

Garaway Boys team beat Bishop Ready 51-47.

So Garaway does indeed have BOTH their Girls and Boys teams in the Final Four in their respective Tournaments.
I well remember how exciting that was and how proud it made Ironton fans when our teams managed that accomplishment!
Although Garaway is far away from our southern Ohio location, I'll be rooting for both their Girls and Boys teams - what a great season for that school!
