Congrats to the Lady Oaks on the win and to the Lady Pirates on a fine season. Like yabba said, the hot shooting of Oak Hill in the 3rd quarter did the Pirates in. They just never could recover after getting behind and Oak Hill made a living at the free throw line in the 4th.

Like I said in aprevious post, the Lady Oaks are seasoned veterans in the regionals and always seem to find a way to win. Of course, playing three straight games at Lancasters gym probably didn't hurt them either.

Great game to listen too and good luck to the Lady Oaks in the regional finals.

3 straight games at Lancaster?

I never thought the Lady Oaks would be in the regional finals this year...WOW.

Congrats and good luck!

Does this one make up for 1995?

Oak Hill's last two games were district games played at Waverly, the same place the Lady Pirates played their last two games.

Congrats to Oak Hill and to the Wheelersburg Lady Pirates on a fine season!

The final score was like 63-55. This was a great game and both teams played very well. The officals could have been better with only two out of the three making every call there is something wrong. There was one of them that was almost totally for one team but thats what you get on the tourney sometimes. Congrats to Oak Hill on their win. Congrats to Burg on a heck of a good season.

Congrats to the Lady Oaks and Coach Hale. I think experience was key in this one. Oak Hill has been at this point in the tournament frequently in the past few years, and knew what it would take to get the win. Good Luck the rest of the way...Also, congrats to the Lady Pirates on a magnificent season! Keep your heads up and work hard to get back next year...

This is what I was refering to. I thought they meant that Oak Hill had already played two games at Lancaster this year and this would be their third. I guess I misunderstood the post. My bad.

Congrats to the Lady Oaks.

I must give a big assist to Buzz Fisher, whose notes and radio broadcast helped me cover and produce today's (Thursday) story. On Wednesday p.m., I woke up with the worst headache and pain in my head I have ever experienced. Head still hurts quite a bit. Didn't make it to Lancaster, but hopefully will be there on Saturday for the regional final. Go Lady Oaks!
