Tryouts for fall exposure tournament

Post by bball4evr »

Mandatory Tryout session for Fall Exposure Teams on Sunday, August 30
Due to the response that we have gotten to the fall exposure event we want to have a workout/tryout for the fall exposure teams. The workout will take place on Sunday, August 30 at McFarland gym, 2805 Pinkerton Lane, Zanesville, 43701. The time will be from 6:00 to 8:30. This is mandatory if you want to play. If you cannot make it or have any questions e-mail Brent Glass at brentglass@ohioexpressbasketball.com We will make every attempt to take as many girls that want to play as possible. This is for freshmen, sophomores and juniors in the current school year.

The cost for the event will be the cost of the tournament into the number of girls attending. The cost of the tournament is $325 per team. We will supply uniforms for those who do not have them, returning players will wear last years uniforms. The dates are October 3-4. The event we will be attending will most likely be the Nike All Ohio Finale held at Olentangy Orange High School. This is approximately 10 minutes from the gym where the OGBR Top 64 event will be held. Games start at approximately 3:00 on Saturday and 1:00 on Sunday. Players and coaches must attend a mandatory NCAA educational session prior to the games starting on Saturday. There is a four game guarantee.

We need a sophomore or freshmen point guard and possibly one other sophomore or freshmen player for the fall exposure tournament in Columbus on October 3-4. Players will have the opportunity to play in front of college coaches from all levels. Cost will be $30 and will go towards the tournament fee.

Contact Coach Jake Stewart at (740) 342-5369.

Players should count on attending a practice this Sunday in Zanesville and the following Sunday as well.
