Free Summer Basketball Camps
The Ohio Express Girls Basketball Club will be conducting their 5th annual free summer clinics this summer. There will be two sessions, session one will a basic funadamental clinic with ballhandling, dribbling and introduction into shooting and layups. Girls in grades 3rd through 6th are welcome. The second session will be an advanced session with focus on improving your offensive game. Areas being focused on will be dribble moves to score, shooting drills, perimeter moves, scoring moves into the paint and post moves. Girls in grades 6th and up are welcome. Players can attend both sessions if they would like. The first clinic will be held on Sunday, June 28 with session one going from 5:30 to 7:00 and session two from 7:00 to 8:30. Clinics will be held at McFarland gym located at 2805 Pinkerton Lane, Zanesville. Instructors will be Jake Stewart, Mark Lane and Brent Glass. The Ohio Express AAU Girls Basketball Club will conduct its fifth annual free clinics this summer for grades 3-12. Clinics will be held at McFarland gym on Sunday evenings, located at 2805 Pinkerton Lane, Zanesville. Session one focuses on fundamentals like ballhandling, dribbling and introduction into shooting and layups, while Session two is advanced with the focus on improving your offensive game and includes dribble moves to score, shooting drills, perimeter moves, scoring moves into the paint and post moves. Players can attend both sessions if they would like. The first session will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. today, July 5 with the second session following from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Instructors will be Jake Stewart, Mark Lane and Brent Glass. Session one will be from 5:30 to 7:00 and is for girls in grades 3 through 6. Session two will run from 7:00 to 8:30 and is for girls in grades 7th and up. Anyone is welcome and there is no charge.
~The following week, August 9 we will be in Newark. First session for 3-6 grades will run from 6:00 to 7:00 and the second session will run from 7:00 to 8:30. Newark High School is located at 314 Granville Street, Newark. There will be no charge and we had a terrific turnout the last time we were in Newark and are hoping for one again. Feel free to bring a friend.

Last summer workout of the year in Zanesville to be held Sun
We are holding the last workout of the summer this Sunday, August 16 at McFarland gym located at 2805 Pinkerton Lane, Zanesville. We would like to get as many kids there as possible, the goal is to set a summer clinic record with the highest attendance of the year! Please feel free to bring a friend or two. The first session for 3rd through 6th graders will run from 5:30 to 7:00. The second session for 7th graders and up will run from 7:00 to 8:30.
