... OHHS old timer ! glad you've come to the dark side - that of "posting" - the art being able to agree to disagree while still having to put the youngin's to bed so the beatings can begin LOL ... Pfloyd does = Pink Floyd ... unless I am in Portsmouth AND the ticket taker will let me in IF I am Portsmouth Floyd LOL ... you'll be able to sift through those who are on here to stir up whatever they vs those who KNOW about hoops Below the Lancaster-Dixon Line ... some great folks to know when you head into all corners of the SEOhio hoops country ... again welcome !

Pfloyd: thought you may want to know. Beau Justice needs 37 points for 1000 at Valdosta State. They are Dll #9 in the country.

Had a big shootout in Ptown tonight, even though my Trojan's came up a little short they played one hell of a game ,taking gallia academy into double overtime and losing by two points, and we had two shots from three point line that bounced off the rim that would have gave us the W.

Great game by both teams, loveday scored 30 ,and DJ eley had 29 for Portsmouth, congrats to the bluedevil on the hard fought win .

... unable to make the trip due to personal/family issue - nothing wrong - just having family that we don't see more than twice a year coming in - didn't feel right leaving for the day ...

IMO Burg is playing as good as anyone in the southeastern district. Fairland is the only team that Burg would have a problem with. Burg is finally playing to the potential we all knew they had. Hopefully they will keep rolling come tournament time

"Fairland is the only team that Burg would have a problem with." (LOL)
Waverly just played AT Burg a week ago, dominated the 1st quarter, was up by 6 in the 2nd when catalyst Cobe Marquez went down with an ankle injury and never returned. The game was tied at halftime and Burg pulled a nick and tuck game out in the end.

Maybe you are saying they are tremendously better in that week since then.................

I think scott1297 is pretty clear in what he is saying. Yes it was only a 7 point victory against Waverly in the last game. But don’t sit there and imply if Cobe “the catalyst” Marquez would not have gotten hurt then you guys would have won. Waverly is definitely not just one guy. I think Burg did use that victory as a springboard to dominate their next two opponents Oak Hill by 22 and West by 26. Waverly is a good team but just a notch below The Burg and Oak Hill as shown by their records.

Yes, Marquez changed that game completely.
Just like Oak Hill losing Long.

Burg beat Oak Hill with Long on the floor. Waverly cannot say the same.

Ok, all I heard when they gave the score Tuesday night was that’s Long was out.
Seeing how Long played and Burg still beat Oak Hill that bad they should have beaten Waverly by 20.
