I know at the start of the season I didn’t expect the Northwest J.V would have a very good season. With playing mostly freshmen they are sitting at 9-2 right now.

Unioto’s JV only has 1 loss (Miami Trace) and the middle school has none between 7th and 8th grade, but the SVC plays a double round, so hopefully they can at least get in some competitive games in the non league.

JV will go undefeated this year. They’ve beat the brakes off of every team this year handily

Welp, make that two losses now after dropping one against ZT tonight. Was a fun night, with all 3 games coming down to the final minute.

I am either not understanding the situation or I am missing something, but I have not been to a freshman game the entire season. Do teams still play freshman games? I know Huntington isn't even playing JV games for some reason. I was told kids were allowed to play 6 quarters a night though. Unless this is wrong, a freshman could play an entire game and then a half of a JV game. Getting them 6 quarters a night seems like a great thing. There is no wonder kids don't want to play anymore, schools never let them play.

I believe only 5 SVC schools have Freshman teams, which is actually better than a couple of years ago. You are allowed 6 quarters in a night, which should open up some more chances for extra games like you stated.

Most of the SHAC teams have a freshman schedule. I'm pretty sure all SHAC field freshman teams.

Five of the six teams in the FAC had freshmen teams this year.
