Who is “HIM” in the Week that IS? 12/11-12/16/23

Post by pfloyd »

Trying to give props to all of the players across the SE District who had excellent performances each game night - win or lose! .... offensive or defensive performances! ... starters or off the bench! - players who had outstanding contributions to the TEAM effort ... I only get to 1 game per night - those players get recognized in my writeups BUT there are many, many, many players who deserve to be recognized for what they do for their teams nightly, on teams/games I don't get to - with your assistance WE can make this happen - thanks, pfloyd

Please post exceptional individual performer names/with school name & stat lines from the Week that IS (Monday 12/11- Saturday 12/16/23) :

I didn't get final stats, but Rickman (#1) for WCH was a soul-crusher for Jackson. I believe he ended with ~27 pts or so (someone will have detailed stats hopefully). He may be as challenging of an individual matchup that I've seen this season. Quick, long, and elevates on his jumper to a height that not many smaller guards can hinder. Kudos to that young man.

Don't have his rebound or assist stats, but DeAndre Berry of Portsmouth is averaging 24 PPG through 3 games as the PHS has started the season at 3-0.

And will be getting his 1,000 point here in a couple weeks.

I told everyone at the end of last year he would be very hard to handle this year !
