Waverly at West Tuesday Jan 4

The league grind begins as the Tigers travel to the west side for the first of several Tuesday road trips in 2022.
If Waverly plays with the intensity they did against D1 opponents Newark and Upper Arlington they will be very difficult to handle.
Tigers cannot let up if they want to win a league title and prepare for a tournament run. Anyone in the league can beat you if you have a let down.
It all starts Tuesday at Portsmouth West.

... THIS season? I would have lost the house betting on the West @ Fairland game LOL ... West vs Waverly ? all bets are off - I get it though, IF Waverly takes what they have learned in the games over the holiday break, going along with the intensity they showed in those games - my money would be on the Tigers but #34 beat my #7 this past week ... I'm keeping my money in my pocket ...

It’s high school and all sports at all levels are as unpredictable as ever….I feel that West knocking off Fairland, while a huge win for their program and confidence, I believe it helps Coach Robertson to get his kids to be at a higher focus level to play well in this game or same can happen to them. Those Waverly boys know how good Fairland and AP are…and this being in West…..trap game gone, the giants have been poked and focused, coming off a loss.
