First time facing each other since 2005

This will be a battle…it just will.

@Oak HIll….Jackson and Oak Hill people know each other very well. When Oak Hill does well in tournament play throughout the sports….a lot of Jackson people there rooting them on, and when Jackson makes a tournament run you see a mess of the Oak Hill kids there.

Coach McKinniss lives in Jackson and used to be Jackson’s coach. His son is on Oak Hill’s team and he played for Jackson through junior high. Point guard Kade Kinzel was a talented freshman for Jackson two years ago. Braylon Howell was my neighbor here in town and played with our kids on our young travel teams…..they all know each other and Oak Hill will want this one badly. Jackson better hit some shots, play well and avoid foul trouble. Foul trouble could be a huge play if Jackson isn’t cognizant of staying on the court. We just played a very physical game with a good crew and a lot more calls will be made by probably 1/2 the other crews around.

Coach Morrow isn’t going to let any stone go unturned on this one.

Oak Hill will continue to struggle until they start playing as a team and not the wasted possession after wasted possession that goes on now because of bad shot selection and trying to shoot over multiple defenders.
Run an offense and hit the open man, it's not rocket science.
Mixing up defenses wouldnt hurt either especially when you give up lay up after lay up.
