Fun start!

You got them listed and we can go from here. I challenge anyone to make a top 8 without getting backlash, let alone 70+

Everyone has a starting point and months to change it. Here we go!

I 100% agree with the top 4. Peebles was a top 20 team for sure and added 2x all-SHAC 6’2 Hunter Ruckel. Should have a big season with a top coach and point guard.

Eastern Brown 100% agree...they are tough and had Ruckel, but Buecler ready for another big season.

I don’t think 7 teams are better than LE but they lost and have every chance to move up

I THINK Oak Hill, Unioto, Alexander, Adena, South Point are a bit better but man I don’t know. I’m going to guess South Gallia and Marietta are better than their ranking.

I’ll be surprised if Fed Hock, Lynchburg and Hillsboro finish that high but good to see Fed Hock winning. Coach Carson will give Lynchburg opportunities to win and maybe Hillsboro losing reasonably to Chillicothe (compared to what we thought) is them moving on from their debacle vs Eastern Brown.

Great job as always and I appreciate the time and effort you put into this.

... where would you like them to be ? 2 W's and a quality loss to ZT ... took the lead vs ZT in the 4th quarter ...

It’s early and they lost. Yes, on road to a great #2 but still top 8. Logan Elm going to have a real nice season.

... I'll see Adena tomorrow night as the travel to the Hat to take on Chillicothe ... haven't decided where to go Tuesday - Oak Hill at Minford is on the table ... Friday Alexander hosts Athens ... Saturday ? I need to know the times/lineup for the "get together" at Rio (multiple teams, multiple games) I know Warren is playing Huntington WVa and Oak Hill vs Point Pleasant for a couple of the matchups ... The Big E Classic is Saturday as well - a couple of varsity matchups Athens vs the Peake and Fairland vs South Webster ... or Logan travels to Canal Saturday as well ... we'll see ! tomorrow is definitely pointing Pfloyd1 toward Chillicothe ...

... I was trying to correct some of the pre-season "poor rankings" due to the transfers in/out for schools, injuries teams are dealing with etc. LE has Bexley on the road then entertain BC this week - tough week for the Braves ... I've seen 16 different teams so far with some multiple times - Logan Elm x2, Zane Trace x2 ... wins matter, losses as well obviously, the eye test comparing the top teams with those below them in the rankings IS important ... LE lost to ZT "yes" but I also KNOW what LE has and how they compare to the other teams out there both Above and Below ...

I would say Oak Hill at Minford will be the best atmosphere. They don’t like each other. Minford plays a tough game, OH and Norm do their thing. It might be a 36-20 game or it might be something to watch transpire. I’m interested in the outcome.

Jackson plays Sissonville at Rio but I can’t speak at all of how good or bad they might be.

Alex hosting Athens should be enjoyable and an easy trip

Safe travels

They lost to Zane Trace. Only team with a loss in the top eight, that's showing respect.

Really nice list. I think Green will be way up from 61 when it's over and I don't think Northwest will finish last (Jan 11 v East could be battle of the bottoms)

Peebles will be matched up with North Adams at North Adams in league contest, big school vs small school December the 13 the. Aka Friday the 13th. Then the Indians will match up with Eastern Brown on the 17th. Also a league big school vs small school. Next two weeks will tell me alot about the Indians. Then they will match up with Whiteoak at home. Always a rival. Next Holiday tourney and possible match ups with West Union or rematch with North Adams. Leading up to Showdown with New Boston at Peebles on January the 4th.Reguardless I believe the Indians will finish the year in the top 20 or so. Go Indians.
Ironman92, you would have loved the Ally oop to Ruckel to start the Paint Valley game Saturday. Browning with a 27 ft pass on the left wing to right block. Ruckel I believe finished with 22 or so and Browning with 18. Rest of points spread out to 7 other players.

He has really worked the weights this fall. Open gym he worked really hard. I'm pretty sure his dad was principle here when my boy was in school early 2000 's. Hunter seems to love it here.

VC is good at home and Combs is one of the best. ZT talent a lot better but VC kids will fight and go at it no doubt. ZT really should win by double digits but VC playing it tight could certainly happen.

Yeah, I missed Green. They’ll hit double digit wins in SOC small schools.

East feels like the bottom team but I’m rooting for them to move forward like Fed Hock

Fed Hock is going to make a lot of noise this season. I feel they have the potential to finish in the top 2 in the TVC hocking.
