Call it being unrealistic or biased or whatever anyone wants to call it but I do believe Unioto has that guy in Little. It’s gonna take a while for him to adjust from football but I watched him make huge improvements over the summer and I think he’s ready to take that next step. Wheeler also had a great summer and am looking forward to watching him play along with the Debord’s, Lambert’s and any other sets of twins that we have.
I told you that I was going to take you at your word this past football season, can I be confident enough to be able to do the same this basketball season ? Lol
I’ll sign the back and you can take it straight to the bank!
That sounds good to me. Wait, sign the back of what ? Ironman 92 said that you have rarely ever been serious about anything, he must know a lot more than you realize.

Pretty sure you are one of the Piketon assistant basketball coaches.

i believe your son can and will be that person. If him and wheeler work together they will be tough to stop
but they do have others that can score also

Zane Trace will obviously be at the top with with Adena right behind them. IMO Piketon is the next best team and will shock some people this season. The should be Frontier Unioto will probably underachieve once again despite being the largest school in SVC

If anyone has to finish ahead of the Sherman’s I do hope it’s my Piketon Redstreaks.

4%.

4% is what I’m giving Piketon to finish in the top half of the league. They graduated their only scorer in the entire program and will struggle mightily. They did improve on the sidelines, but the talent isn’t there.

They might finish above the “underachieving” Tanks who have routinely underachieved over the past 6 years, but I doubt it.

A very gracious 4%

Pretty much because of the unknown of Newland’s injury.

I don’t even know if Unioto and Paint Valley will be any good this year, but I would certainly put them above Piketon and probably Westfall as well.

Wish I could’ve taken this one in. Heard Unioto won 4 qtrs to 1 over Peake and split with Northridge.

After watching preview tonight.
Zane Trace
Adena
Piketon
Unioto

There’s your top 4

Cam Evans POY
Kyle Miller COY

As we see see when teams are down coaches have to coach....Unioto has always rode the talent wave. Hoops will need to start coaching. Adena picked up McKee who will help. Piketon’s Chandler is coming along nicely. Adena has a lot of returning players that have had some deep tournament play.

I like your top 4 but not in that order. You’re close tho.

Adena - Could be dangerous to ZT but need to see who will step up to replace Fout as he was a clear leader last year.
Unioto/Piketon/PV/WF - Any order you want. All have holes I expect them to beat up on each other.
SE - Young with potential with a new coach should be interesting to see how they develop.
Huntington - Experience will be the issue with them but its always tough to play on their court.

Good luck to all the teams.
First of all, it’s really difficult to tell from previews what will really happen. But I did not see anything that changed my original thought. Zt was on cruise control and has the best player by far against a very young undermanned se team. Huntington just didn’t have the experience and horses. Pv is without arguably their best player and played hard but has some holes. Adena is long and athletic and has a lock on 2nd I believe. Piketon is big but lacks some guard play that might hurt them in some games. Wf was missing one of there better players but defensively caused a lot of issues for Unioto. Unioto has talent and I think when they shoot it well can be dangerous I’m just not sure they will do that constantly. Should be a fun league to watch this year. Good luck to these young men.

I really would like to see the SVC and OVC play against each other every year, perhaps some type of holiday tournament.

Zane Trace v Fairland
Ironton v Adena
Chesapeake v Unioto
South Point v Piketon
Portsmouth v Paint Valley
Gallia Academy v Westfall
Coal Grove v Southeastern
Rock Hill v Huntington

What an awesome event that would be

Yeah this would be cool. Could do like the ACC big 10 challenge.
