Soph big kid as you call him didn't transfer to Fairland. I saw him and parents at AAU basketball last night. The Peake has lost one to Fairland but he was a freshman.

How was their JV/Freshman team? Do they have any upcoming talent to help Blouir?

I think next year will be a big year for the blue devils. It will really be a year where we can see if coach Harrison and staff has brought this program anywhere in his time here. I think they have I think every years team is a little fundamentally better even if not more talented.

Some of my haters will jump on me but next years team I think will have more basketball players and less athletes. We actually have a couple of kids who maybe could become decent point gaurds something we haven’t had in a long time. We have had several scoring gaurds. Several leaders at the position. But not many distributors of the ball.
The incoming freshman is big. His size will help. He is about 6'6-6'7 and plays a lot of ball. I see him getting minutes on varsity this season

Gallia has some holes to fill after losing 4 starters, and even though I think the Blue Devils will be competitive, I look for Fairland, South Point, and Ironton to probably battle for the OVC title. An above .500 season is likely, maybe in the neighborhood of 12-14 wins and a middle of the pack finish in the OVC, but it will depend on how the new starters fit their roles.

Beyond returning Logan Blouir, Ben Cox, and Justin Wilcoxen.

Who are other possible varsity starters/rotation players for this season?

Alexander looked fantastic. The point guard for Gallia is going to have a great year. The freshman big kid has some skill but the 7 footer from Alex had him frustrated. Gallia will struggle to score the ball of #14 doesn’t score 40

I think we’ll be ok and see a 13-9 type year. Good bit of potential but kids need to buy in with their roles and what they need to improve on.
