2019-2020 Chillicothe Cavaliers

Post by CavalierAlum05 »

A long way out. Thoughts?

Cavaliers return a boat load. Still have that pesky D1 to deal with being one of the smaller D1 teams in the state.
I look for Huffer to have his most successful year yet with this group.

CavalierAlum05: Can you project a starting 5 for your Cavaliers? I would say beyond any doubt that CHS is the FAC favorite, with Jackson as the main challenger. Probably another 15-17 win season for CHS, depending on the non-conference schedule. Pfloyd's top 8 for sure, considering that Chillicothe plays the toughest NC schedule in the SE district.

Next year should be an extremely successful year for the Cavs. They return a ton of talent. Could see them as the #1 team in Pfloyd's pre-season poll.

I agree with all said above.
Will probably be top 3 in the top 8 maybe 1.

Beard, Maughmer, Noel, Roper, Benson. Those 5 will get the majority of playing time. I don't think i left anyone out? correct if I am wrong.

I’d put them at the top of next year.

Maughmer
Noel
Beard

...all return and all are tops at their positions or right at it

Maughmer will be Holdenesque and Noel will be a monster to deal with

Those 3 are very good. I really like the Noel kid and i don’t think he gets enough recognition due to one of his teammates. Not his teammates fault, just the way it is..

The Cavs would be so much more intriguing if they were in D2. Being in D1 brings the excitement down and I’m not trying to be negative. Just stating the truth. They have no chance advancing one game in the tournament. Good luck to them this year because I will be rooting for them.
