I think NB can play with Hiland if they’re hitting shots

After seeing what Hiland did too Coal Grove New Boston has their work cut out for them not saying that NB can't win but IMO Hiland is on a different level but every team has a bad game and hopefully NB can do enough to make Hiland have a bad game and NB has to out rebound them I think that's the key

Again, Congrats New Boston, you've made it to the "Elite 8". You have earned every win to be able to get to this point. Good luck in your upcoming game, and I'm pretty sure that all of SEO is pulling for the New Boston Tigers.

In the last 30 years their boys and girls teams have lost more State games than Regional games and still have 9 State titles between them. The secret there is don't field a oblong sport team, just field teams that use roundballs !!!!!

Great season by New Boston, and a season they'll remember for a long time. Unfortunately, Hiland is truly just a different animal. So much discipline, plenty physical enough, and lots of speed and shooters. If New Boston keeps this within 20 I'll be shocked.

My prediction is:

Hiland 79
New Boston 40

Congrats tigers on an amazing record breaking season. BH is just another kind of beast and the fact that they are a public school makes it even better. I’ll be shocked if they can keep this game within 20-30 points

I’m not counting New Boston out, actually I think they got just as much a chance at winning as Hiland is winning. Game planning, never give up, play your game and rebound, rebound and hit half your three pointers. Tigers has to believe and even the so called better team can be taken down. Good Luck and believe this is the Year of The Tiger! Tigers by 3 Make it Rain! Tigers are the Storm! Remember they beat a very good physical Trimble team.

Hiland would snuff out Trimble by 40pts... no comparison

113 to 39 but New Boston has competitive balance of 31. So they have 7 out of district kids on the basketball team

Looking at the proposed enrollment for the next few years on OHSAA website, it says each school has this many boys in the top 3 grades:

New Boston - 58
Berlin Hiland - 113

Those #'s should be pretty accurate.

That means that they have 7 out of district students. Not all play basketball.
