New Philadelphia (21-4) is very good. Their four losses were to Zanesville (early), Canton McKinley, Dover and Meadowbrook. All the losses were less than 4 points. They beat Steubenville (who plays Sheridan) by 18 late in the season. Hope ZT can pull it off.

This will not be an easy game at all for ZT, hope the couple District prior games played at the Convo, might give them a small advantage.

New Philly is great on defense. They have 3 shooters and a really solid point guard. Not really big and not really deep but if the Convo background doesn’t hurt them, they’re a tough out. And really well coached. The other team must play well to beat them

I think East and Central District teams get to practice once in the Convo if they are playing a SE District team. I know it is not a game, but they can get some shooting in. I may be wrong on that, but they used to that.

I'm looking forward to taking this game in. I haven't seen New Philadelphia, but have heard a lot about them throughout the season. Zane Trace is plenty talented and well coached so I think this will be a real game.

Gut says New Philly by 5-8 solely looking at their schedule and results.

I wonder if there is a situation where teams out of the area, would be allowed to get some practice time on the Convo floor ? I bet 93Bulldog would know.

I know Harvest Prep practiced in the Convo one night before they played Wheelersburg in the Regional Semi’s last year. I don’t know about other teams but that is just one example I know for sure happened.

IMO, New Philly should win by mid double digits unless: ZT's Evans can penetrate that tough defense along with his 3 pointers and he must have a great scoring day (at least 25) and Davidson must score & rebound in double digits in the trenches. If not, it's gonna be a long day.

Well, through 3 qtr. Davidson has a double double, Evans is in double figures and they have a 3 pt. lead. They've slowed the game down and are in it.

New Philly found a way to win with terrible 1st and 3rd qtr shooting percentages.

NP 50 - ZT 43 (Final)

ZT, pioneers had an awesome season. Good luck NP. Sheridan and New Philly in elite 8. Lace em up and battle, for it's about to get real. One to final 4, one goes home.

ZT led 37-30 with less than 6 minutes left. 20-6 run by the Quakers to end it.
