There's going to be a few changes in the league in the next couple of seasons
Sandy Valley and Tusky Valley are to be moved to the South division or more or less the big school division, and Newcomerstown and Buckeye Trail to the North division or small school division
So it should look like this in a few seasons
Big school
Hiland d-4
Garaway d-3
Indian Valley d-2
Claymont d-2
Tusky Valley d-3
Sandy Valley d-3
Ridgewood d-3
Small school
Strasburg d-4
Malvern d-4
Tusky Cath d-4
East Canton d-4
Conotton Valley d-4
Buckeye Trail d-3
Newcomerstown d-4

Video highlights of Sandy Valley's win over Meadowbrook:

There's also an entire game clip of Garaway vs. Sandy Valley in the district final game, but it's from a cell phone and it's horrible.

Tough game but I think the Burg does get it done. Shots start to fall as the tempo increases with it. Holden has a big night and the supporting cast provides the lift we saw during the regular season.

Sandy Valleys big in the middle may pose some problems for my Pirates. He looks a lot more active on the offensive end compared to Terry (6'10) from Alexander. Kelly (6'7) is big bodied, and will challenge shots in the paint, but he also looks to have some athleticism and ability to guard on the perimeter. If he guards Holden, I still think you try and draw him out and make him guard the dribble. Maybe put him in pick and roll situations that either forces a switch or for him to fight over screens. Putting him in constant action does a few things. 1.) It may allow our guards to take advantage of their quickness against him. 2.) Pulls a big body away from the paint, taking away the major rebounding threat. 3.) Finally, depending on the kids physical fitness, may gas him a little bit and potentially lead to bad fouls due to fatigue.

If they play zone, which was shown on film some, all of that is out the window haha

If the big guys name is Bryce Kelly he is a beast on the football field. Just watched highlights of him playing TE/DE and he is a load. Did he get any FB offers?

Not sure if he is quick enough to guard Holden but he will be a handful.

The entire Sandy Valley v. Meadowbrook game is on Youtube as well...should be a great game. Anybody that has watched the SV v. Meadowbrook game think #10 for SV just comes in as a goon type role? He flat laid a Meadowbrook player out at halfcourt, and another play looks to basically pretend to fall down onto the same kids leg. Then doesn't come back in the game.

#1 Kelly s brother will guard Holden. He’s 6’4” and athletic. Big man Kelly is going football to a D-2 school in canton. Walsh ?

I don’t think there’s a player on sandy valley that can keep Holden from his average. Burg by 15

I agree, plus I think some of the other kids that have been in a shooting slump of sorts, are about due to start shooting the ball the way they are capable of doing.

If Burg's role players show up, Burg +10. If they don't, I think we go home with an L.

I do like the way we are defending right now, but our offense needs to find their rhythm again. Either way, keeping up the effort and intensity on the defensive end will keep them in most games. We will see if that holds true tomorrow.

Burg hasn't been shooting very well since the tourney started with that close call with Meigs although they have out talented the 8, 4 and 6 seeds in those 3 games. Sandy has played 4 games in the tourney so far and has wins over a 12 and 10 seed but have to be feeling really good after knocking off both the 1 & 2 seeds back to back in the district games.
* My prediction: Burg by 8 *

You said that about meadow brook as well. Meadow brook should’ve beat sandy valley by 10+. They played horrible against SV and I wasn’t that impressed with meadowbrook. Sandy valley is on a magical run but I don’t think they are as good as you think.

Mullins will hopefully be on. He will lift 8-10 shots either way and can make a huge difference.

This game will be 10-12 Pts by half-time and Wheelersburg wins by 15+. Just too much talent for Sandy Valley to deal with. Holden has big game.

Well it's finally gameday... Burg is gonna need another show from holden tonight I think if they want to win this game.
And I think he will bring one ! I'd assume this one stays close for about 3 quarters until inevitably burg pulls away.

ONE other major issue i have with the burg this postseason has been their free-throw shooting, hasn't been up to par at all.

I haven't picked against Burg all year, but for once I think I'm going to tonight. I was the one talking about Meadowbrook for weeks so if this team has enough to beat Meadowbrook, they must be pretty daggon good.

I'm going with

Sandy Valley 61
Burg 55

But I wouldn't mind seeing another Harvest + Burg rematch either!

Meadowbrook played their worst game of the year against SV atleast that's what Meadowbrook is saying IMO SV is on a roll the last couple of game but it's ends tonight hopefully and Connor Mullins is finally gonna have a good game tonight so let's go Burg!
