Oxygen level has dropped some and fluid on lungs. Need improvement to get off vent. Doctors and nurses say great improvement overall but will have to be very patient.

I didn’t comment on this because I was too close on Friday night — I thought he was gone. Truly. I prayed for his wife and family who had to watch the situation and come to terms with losing a loved one.

The few people there that performed chest compressions for what seemed like an eternity... big time tip of the cap to you. Amazing. The effort given to keep this man alive was truly heroic.

Amen! I said a quick prayer as soon as I heard and saw what was happening. I prayed last night and this morning. Never doubt the power of prayer!

I want to give praise to all of the people who performed CPR on the man. I hope they are all able to hear the good news. I am not CPR certified, but I think I am going to get certified after witnessing that.

I was there. I was praying. Administering chest compressions is exhausting and should truly be a team effort. I was on the verge of heading over to offer help and was stopped and told there was enough people there.

And if this doesn't serve as inspiration to get your CPR/First Aid/AED training, I don't know what does. Basic response saved this man's life.
