Valley a big upset over #2 Eastern Brown to win the Sectional title and secure a trip to the convo to take on the #6 seeded Spartans who are coming off an upset of #3 Fairland. Good back end of the year for 1st year coach Eric Horton.

Thoughts, Predictions?

Alexander is playing pretty well right now, especially getting terry involved on offense, as well as on defense. Valley just beat a very good Eastern Brown team, and is probably playing with a lot of confidence. Valley will play very hard, as they usually do. I can see this being very close, or I can also see Alexander winning rather easily. I just think that Alexander has to much talent to lose this game. Valley a lot of the time likes to play there tempo, and do a lot of dribble drive to the basket, I don't see that being there with Terry down low.

This game will be a battle, but I have to give the edge to Alexander with Terry inside, but wouldn’t be surprised to see the Indians pull this one out as they have been playing some good ball lately

Valley actually doesn't match up too bad with Alexander. They have a decently big body (Zaler) to throw at Terry and have 3-4 pretty solid guards. Depth is an issue, and at times they struggle to put points on the board.

With that said, Alexander is physical and playing really good ball right now. I think Alexander wins this game by around 20.

Two teams playing their best ball of the season. This could potentially be one of the best games of the day in my opinion. Interested to see how Valley will handle Terry inside and if they can get him in foul trouble dribble driving to the basket with their guards. Valley is playing excellent on the defensive end. I’ll take Indians in another upset.

Alexander really should prevail. Won’t be surprised if Kearns puts on a display

I don't know anything about valley other than they started slow and lost a lot of games. They seem to be playing better as of late. To my knowledge, Alexander has never won a district title and does not have a history of playing well at the convo. This team has a great deal of talent and ability. I would think we should win, but I expected more from other match ups this year. We will just have to show up and see what happens.

Go Alex.

Even though I think Alexander will win, I am impressed with the Valley coach. He seems to be in control of his team, as far as managing the game. His kids will play very hard, and will leave it all on the floor. As I said before, it could be a very close game, depending on the outside shooting of both teams. The way Terry has been playing, will still be the "X" factor down low on defense.

Both teams should be thrilled to be here, because most picked both to be sitting at home. But I like rooting for the underdogs, I’m taking Valley in another upset.

Hope to see Valley get the win here. With the talent they have coming up, could be some good years on the horizon for Valley.*

Their future is very bright. Great 8th grade class mixed with the Copley kid in 7th who is a stud. They were also only 5 kids away from being D4 this year. Not sure what their upcoming classes look like enrollment wise, but I've always said if Valley drops to D4 then you have a perennial power in SE Ohio.

bbjunky: no doubt on Valley as a potential D4 school. Looking at new numbers, Valley gonna have a shot at D4 if their CB number not too big.*

Coach Horton is going to be outstanding when all is said and done. He has the Indians playing really well right now, but I think Alexander will be too much and will finally get the Convo monkey off their back and return to a District Title game.

I'm taking Alexander by 12.

That could be very interesting in two seasons. I've seen the 7th and 8th grades and both are solid for Valley. In 2021, Valley could have some extreme talent from top to bottom, senior to freshmen, classes. A drop to D4 and look out we could see Valley competing for a regional title.
