At least 4 technicals. Not sure yet.
What happened? Was there a fight?

Yeah but he's not very good. Sheridan won by 20. Heller had 30. #22 for Sheridan is tough. 6'2 sophomore

Yeah just came back from an injury. He's plenty good, especially on the defensive end.

2 games down today here at Logan High School in the D2 Sectional ... some good basketball considering both Fairfield Union and Sheridan were on the fast lane to get to the Convo with the games played today simply to be a "formality" ... both Marietta and Circleville had different takes on that as the both gave the top seeds all they could handle - Marietta through 3+ quarters vs FU and Circleville through the 1st half vs #1 seed Sheridan ... got to love the post season !!! ... more on both of these games tonight as I'm on my way back to Logan High School to take in Logan's D1 first round game in the Central District (OCC Post Season Party) sectional play vs Grove City ... have to support my Purple Boyz ! ... will try to do brief rundowns with napkin stats tonight after the game ...

... the Post Season ... Survive & Advance ... One & Done ... whatever you call it - it is simply the best show around no matter who you root for !!! ... enjoy the games, be safe ... see everyone at Basketball Thirty !!!

#3 and #22 will play well at the Convo. Big kid won't be a factor vs Waverly. Now off to Southeastern

At the Peake - Eastern game, I’ll try to provide some occasional updates.

First thought - Chesapeake’s crowd is very very small. They used to pack the Convo

VisionQuest wrote: Sat Feb 23, 2019 12:46 pm FU must have got lit up at the half. lol. Marietta no points at all in about the first 4 or 5 minutes of the 3rd?
Marietta had the arrow and a 7 point lead to start the 3rd qtr. Their first possession lasted nearly 4 minutes as they continually probed the defense. When they finally attacked the basket, the FU defense was too strong and too high. FU scored, I think, on their first 3 possessions of the qtr to cut the lead to one. Marietta's only score in the 3rd qtr was on a OB play for a bunny right after a time-out. I would like to see how the game would have played out if FU didn't make the uncontested trey they did at the half time buzzer. With a 10 point lead maybe the Tigers would have taken the air completely out of the ball, and maybe FU wouldn't have been as patient on defense and been less strong in the interior. But that would have been risky strategy with me being more concerned about Tiger FT shooting than turnovers. A very strong and game effort by Marietta, as is often seen in the tourney with the season's end hanging over the players heads, especially the seniors with many of their careers on the line, with the underclassmen playing their hearts out for the seniors.
